Jade's on LJ (Finally)

I finally convinced Jade to dust off her LJ account and to start archiving her fanfiction. So... if you guys are interested in lighting the fire under Jade and making sure that she gets them up PRONTO, head on over there and harass her to do it.

Thanks Sana! It's lovely to see more people joining in on LJ! DI doesn't seem as active anymore, so I like seeing my favorite authors and posters in general, creating their own journals and interacting more :D

Yeah... I'm guilty of that, as well. Even though I'm a mod at DI (and I adore DI), I find that LJ has been a little... freeing... for me.

Definitely. Im a Mod there too, and my post count used to be the highest of anyone on the board, but over the past year and a half it just hasn't been as fun. No one posts much anymore, whether it be because its so divided these days on being happy and not being happy, or because people tweet so much during the episodes or about spoilers that the forum seems like overkill? Either way it just isn't what it used to be.

I think Twitter has a lot to do with it. I think a lot of folks post immediate reactions on Twitter and then it's redundant to go talk about it on DI.

Plus, I know a lot of people who left DI because other posters would mock them and talk smack about them on Twitter. Like, you know, a person post something on DI about how they hated had problems with a spoiler and instead of addressing the comments on DI, there would be members who would go to Twitter to mock the original poster. And so some really thoughtful and interesting posters left DI. And who can blame them?

ditto what other people have said about letting us know! I adore Jade's fics and always reread them when I feel down. Heck, if I had to choose between your fics and hers, I would be in a lot of trouble! (So don't make me choose please!) :-)

I've been quite negligent in visiting LJs for quite some times.

fates3 told me about your soul sister, Jade, LJ so I went and befriended her and hope she'll friend me back so I can read her locked journal.

Now I'm taking the time to catch up on what I've been amissed. :)
