sanalaylaSo, I'm reading some stuff on the internet (snow day - yay!) and I stumbled across this poster. It's drawn by Adam Hughes (who draws some really awesome stuff in the comics) and the caption that I found was "Taken by James Olson at the JLA Enchantment Under the Sea dance".
After I stopped laughing, I started trying to imagine how this moment could even come to be. I mean... take a look at the collection of women there. Harley Quinn? Poison Ivy? And is that LOIS LANE in the chair at the front? (In my world, it is. Don't disabuse me of the notion.) I might write a drabble about this... if I could figure out a plausible way for all these women to be attending a JLA dance.

I love it. All these awesome women together, it needs a drabble. Badly!

And - yeah - badass is definitely the way I'd describe Lois. All the woman wearing drappy-gown-type-things. And Lois walks in wearing a trouser/pant-suit. Like, "Yeah, I'm the badass sleeping with Superman. So I can be sexy in pants." LOL

That is def. Lois in the front. The stance is hilarious: She's straddling the chair like a man. Because you're right---the woman that is sleeping with Superman can straddle the chair and get a spot upfront.
